First Star I See Tonightby StangComment by Blackbox: At first, I wanted to vote this down. Like the sunset challenge that the winners seems focused on the seascape rather then the actual sunset, this photo looks like a photo of a sunset rather then stars. Like those 'Sunset' photo, this is excellent too. The 'Fist Star' brings it into the challenge more but what really captures my interest is that it really looks like there's a HUGE star floating on the horizon. So, I'm going with a 10 for this one. |

First Star I See Tonightby StangComment by Covert_Oddity: This is a nice shot with some great colours and general good exposure. One thing that is very distracting is the object two thirds along the horizon. I can't make out what it is, which is just annoying and takes away from an otherwise good shot.
As far as meeting the challenge, I appreciate there is a star, but it feels more like "squeezing it in" to make it fit :) |

First Star I See Tonightby StangComment by boyd2000: Well, it's a planet, but still a great photo. I love the clouds and sunset coloring. Is that a boat, buoy or oil derrick on the horizon? I'm surprised at the bright yellow of it, and it really draws my attention. |
