This is very minimalist indeed. Like all other commenters I started with the thumbnail in the forum, and that shows no more than a fairly heavy vignette on top of what looks like a horizon - not much to tempt me to look more closely. In the picture the sea is interesting, the horizon strategically positioned, there is a nice left to right balance and a point of interest right in the middle. The sky shows hardly any detail, yet occupies the larger part of the picture. Lots of room to fill the space with your own memories and fantasies.

Very minimalist image. I do like the movement of the water and the hint of white caps. The heavy vignetting reminds me of looking through an old seaman's spy glass.
