That looks like an interesting place to be, just to see the decorations and photos on the walls.
There is nothing at all wrong with using your iPhone for snapshots. Processing would be totally beyond my tech level, so this is a sort of "here's what can be done with iPhone" shot. I have a tough time working out how to get the ringer to work on my Nextel LOL.
I like the "Gothic Glow" treatment for this.

Strange how different a photo can look with a different background. In this case I prefer the version on your own site with a darker background. Anyway, it's a very nice color combination here.

I'm not sure why you found this scene interesting. The phone is almost hidden behind the tree; the viewer has little to no connection with the girl. In general, when the focal point or subject is taller than it is wide -- use a portrait orientation. There is a bunch of wasted space on either side of the girl/tree that is very uninteresting. Overall, this really doesn't have enough tonal range to be visually arresting.

Having spent another few minutes looking at this, I still can't figure out what was interesting to make you think to pick up the camera and try to capture this. I'm so sorry, I wish I could see it.
