Alone With His Thoughtsby GermaineComment by MaryO: I like the composition with the birds and the sign and the bucket and the boats in the background. The color of the sky and lighting are very nice. |

Alone With His Thoughtsby GermaineComment by PapaBob: Very nice image, I like the peaceful feeling and the warm colors. The birds on the bottom are a good addition and I would have liked to see the crop a tiny bit larger so the bottom birds feet do not get cut but well done. 8 |

Alone With His Thoughtsby GermaineComment by Jutilda: I studied this a bit before voting. It is a wonderful vignette and tells a story. I like the birds, the man's red in the shoes, the diagonal line of the fishing pole. All in all - well done. 7 |

Preparationsby GermaineComment by aimeethetoo: Lovely colors and I like the composition - interesting & different. Very crisp too. My goodness though, I hope she didn't fall - the way she set the ladder on the box is definitely breaking the rules! A couple of nits..I might have cropped an inch off the right and also made the lines of the stairs perfectly horizontal. You seem to have the talent of making a simple everyday thing into an interesting pic. Nicely done! |

Preparationsby GermaineComment by LN13: Who taught that lady to use a ladder? Should I call 911 now, or wait until she falls?
Interesting capture, just someone going about their daily business. I perhaps would have cropped the right side, righ up to the end of the rail. But that's just me. |
