I so wish I had gotten to vote in this challenge. Great shot. Love the moodiness of the b&w. The lines are great and the background silhouette of the buildings is a nice touch. Glad to see this broke well into the 6s. If I could have voted it would have been a tad bit higher. Well done.

Focus is good. Depth of field is so shallow that the yellow block looks soft on the right half of the face because the edge doesn't stand out and the face in that area is featurless. Since your goal was a very shallow depth of field, I won't argue with you. Though with the title and the soft focus, my first thought was moldy cheese.

Lighting, color, saturation, contrast, and hue are all done well. Except for the afore mentioned yellow block, the features on the faces of all the other blocks are nice and sharp, with plenty of texture and relief from proper lighting.

Nice take on the challenge, and a very enjoyable picture.

Great action shot and looks like you were able to get close to the field. :) The addition of the crowd adds a whole completely different level of interest to the photo. Nicely done.

I gave you a 9 on this one, the sky is very dramatic and that is what caught my eye. The thing I didn't care much for is the burning in on the boat, it is a bit to obvious.

Great street shot, boy the people you can run into in the US. I like the conversion to B&W and even if you cropped down to just the man and his sign this would be a nice photo.
