Hello, I voted a few days ago, now returning for comments. I think that you over estimated your final score a little bit, even if this is one of my top pick in this Challenge and I gave you a eight, I predict that you will finish at 6.837 and it should be a top ten or even a top five.

This is a great entry, it challenges the text book negative space images by making the negative space interesting. The subject is clear, and because it is colored so differently from the surrounding space it really works here, I gave this one a 9 because I think it's a great entry for the challenge that also can educate people's understanding of what negative space is in photography... Showing that an image with negative space doesn't have to be a solid swatch of nothing surrounding a sharply captured subject in the thirds.

Hi I don't comment much, but wanted to on this one. love the portrait. would have preferred if you had shot this face-on, rather that from lower down. as the hands distract from that beautiful face. also would have loved it if you would have cropped it a bit to the left so the subject was not in the middle. would have added more interest.(imho) beautiful light and shade. well done. hope this does well.

This nicely side-lit man has great presence and is posed in front of a charming blue crayoned wall. Most effective and enjoyable.
