Mike 2by Eagle40Fox2Comment by ErikV: Has great potential, but would agree with the suggestion for straight B&W because I think this did not end up contrasty enough. |

Mike 2by Eagle40Fox2Comment by Art Roflmao: My previous advice still applies. :P
Photographically, I like the non-color version better, but would probably go with straight black & white - (like Raging Bull, ya know). :) |

Mikeby Eagle40Fox2Comment by ErikV: I like the pose/look, colors, sporty feel to this. I agree with the others, crop it -- at the very least on the top crop out that top horizontal bar thing, and on the bottom crop out at least half of the shorts. |

Mikeby Eagle40Fox2Comment by Lutchenko: Hey Kris this is a nice shot and the tight crop works well for this shot.
If you try B&W or Sepia it gives it a real 1950s feel, very much like a picture you might see in an old sports bar. Good work

Mikeby Eagle40Fox2Comment by Jutilda: I'm totally into cropping tighter, even if the top of the head is missing. I think gsal does it best. It might make the crop a non-traditional shape, but I might crop more off of the bottom as well, so that we are really concentrating on his face. Does that make sense? :) |

Mikeby Eagle40Fox2Comment by Art Roflmao: Suggestions, huh? Ok, well, work the body with some sharp jabs - it seems fairly unprotected and then hit him with your mean uppercut. |

Normby Eagle40Fox2Comment by ErikV: I think you have some good starting material but I think it needs to be spiffed up a bit. At the very least I would a) do some selective sharpening on the eyes and b) crop it a bit tighter. The Lutchenko edits are nice in that they bring out the details much better. |
