James River from Indian Rockby SJCarterComment by CEJ: Very nice location! I like the small bits of rock in the front - adds a great element for the perspective of the shot. The clouds hugging the mountains are really nice too. Timing could not have been better. The contrast between the dark right and bright left works well balanced under the sky and above the reflection. Well done! |

RR Bridge @ Indian Rockby SJCarterComment by CEJ: Beautiful! The processing is right as you said. I think the combination works as it helps to separate the different areas of the shot. The position and amount of bridge showing is perfect for the mood and setting as well. Very nice work! |

Keine Lustby SJCarterComment by loriprophoto: Maybe a bit too dark, crop a bit off the top and left hand side? Interesting shot, very unhappy chappy! Not too sure whether I like it or not Hmmm.

Swinging Bridgeby SJCarterComment by ArpeggioAngel: Really like the angle you chose for this shot. The soft glow around the edges is also a nice touch. Makes this picture feel "old". |

Hollowby SJCarterComment by ArpeggioAngel: Really like this shot. The eyes are the big standout to me. I see a lot of emotion in them and it works well with the "grunge" effect of the photo as a whole. Very well done! |

RR Bridge @ Indian Rockby SJCarterComment by loriprophoto: I find this really busy and am not too sure about the sepia, maybe tone it down a bit, would also be intrested to see the color and a black and white version. The dark in the bottom left corner keeps drawing my eye, maybe crop a bit off the bottom and the left of the shot to get rid of that darker area? |
