Humpback Bridgeby SJCarterComment by Jutilda: The sense of an earlier time is evident here. The worn bridge, the bare trees evoke a lonely sense. I like the mixture of textures with the stone, the wood, the natural, the manmade. The leading line of the railing all the way to the end of the bridge sends your eye through the shot perfectly. Good job!! |

Natural Bridge Postcardby SJCarterComment by tsheets: beautiful! I would tone down the green cast over the rocks a bit, and maybe leave the cyan sky a bit more natural, but overall, wow! The postcard feel has been nailed! Great one! |

On Safariby SJCarterComment by cmeier: so i've read the comments of others and looked at this for a long time and i think the presence of the zebra makes the shot. in my mind's eye, i see the photographer taking the time to carefully compose the zebra in the shot when this ostrich pops his head up just as he/she presses the shutter.
i think it's hysterical! |
