Mercyby SJCarterComment by YourBuddyFlo: very nice image, the colors work very well together, but if the sky was grey it would at alot to the mood. |

Naveby SJCarterComment by Jutilda: I love this so much. It has many levels of appreciation for me. Not only visually, but from a nostalgic point of view - my dad was never happier than when he was at the beach. Excellent vantage point and perspective. Leading line - the epitome. |

Naveby SJCarterComment by rasdub: Nice lines, perspective, and great decision on the faded color. I think it compliments the wood well. |

Beachcombingby SJCarterComment by rasdub: I agree that the out of focus area at the front of the picture weakens this shot. I love to take these sorts of shots at the beach here in SF, and I've found that I like my images that start off with a sharp focus area better. |

Circa 1954by SJCarterComment by rasdub: Very DPC friendly image here. Nice lines and colors. Definitely gave it kind of an old time feel with the post processing. Your work continues to get better and better. You have always done such great work without the best technology (although I see that you have a DSLR now).
Cheers! |

America's Fading Glory IIby SJCarterComment by rasdub: This is my favorite of the two versions. The added ray of light really makes this an even stronger image. This image conveys so much emotion to me, from pride to concern with the current state of our country. Fantastic work Jimmy. |

5 O'Clock Shadowby SJCarterComment by rasdub: This shot just seems too yellow to me for some reason. I love the composition and setting...maybe its just this monitor at work. |

Papayaby SJCarterComment by rasdub: Awesome dog shot Jimmy. The eye color really stands out against the neutral colors of the setting. I actually like the processing that you used on this shot. The sharpness is perfect!
I hope all is well back in Virginia! |
