Soarby SJCarterComment by Jaded_Housewife: beautifully done black and white. i love when people dont over do the contrast in black and whites. would like it better if the hair wasnt obstructing her face but it adds life and movement as it is. its still nice. good work
edited for spelling

Midnight Blueby SJCarterComment by Jutilda: Talk about narrow DOF - wow - wow. I do really like the deep violet tones of this, lightening up to lavender. Would make a great poster! Hang it with a stainless frame - heh, I got it all figured out. LOL |

Moonwalkerby SJCarterComment by obsidian: Challenge: SHADOWS III
Description: Creatively capture a shadow
Advanced Edit
Moonwalker
Fit: Clearly meets the challenge 1
But is it a shadow or a silhouette?
Aesthetics: OK composition 1
Feels a little busy for me
Technical: Technically well executed 2
Wow: Has some impact 1
Not sure that this is a shadow so the lower score - sorry
Total Score = 5 |

Dark Fallsby SJCarterComment by SJCarter: In answer to your question philup: Apple Orchard Falls are over 200 feet tall (mostly cascades). This is just one portion of them. :-) It's a 1.5 mile "moderately difficult" hike up or down the mountain (depending on where you start). Of course, then you have to make the return trip, but it's worth it. HA Message edited by author 2006-06-15 12:24:53. |
