Lightby dimitriiComment by emorgan49: Oh drat! Why didn't I give this picture a ten instead of a nine?? This deserves to be in the top ten. |

Lightby dimitriiComment by jgal76: Very nice picture. I think the grain works well here as does the harsh lighting. My suggestion would be though to crop of an inch or two from the bottom as there is nothing below the feet and the uneven floor and floor boards draw the eye away from the main subject. 7 |

Lightby dimitriiComment by Flash: 7. I'm certain that the graininess was intentional. My preference would be for a high gloss B&W. |

Lightby dimitriiComment by pinback: A shot like this has to have the details right - rotate to level the floor and lose the wall socket. Otherwise, I like the grain and shading, although the legs are a little dark. |

... Bunnyby dimitriiComment by LucidLotus: Heh, interesting image. Fits alone well, though I don't get a solitary or lonely vibe from it. Nice lighting, great silhouette work. I wish the floor was black or another solid color to keep the image in a stark/solid mode. Also, the thing on the floor on the left (maybe a stand of some sort?) could easily be cropped out. Nice photo over all. 5 |

Lightby dimitriiComment by Kavey: I like the image, the pose, the high grain and the darkness of shadow. The direction of lighting is great. My main problem is the perspective - Floor boards and angle of wall to floor makes me feel like I want to take a step to the side. Would prefer to lose the socket on the wall too or to have it positioned elsewhere. |
