The close cropping of this image is what sets it apart from the other 'primates looking bored' images. I find the stray hairs in his eyebrow a bit distracting, particularly since their proximity to the edge of the frame highlights them. I think I see some subtle compression artifacts, particularly around his eyebrow and eyelashes; you may want to check the image compression settings on your camera.

What the heck is this? Aside from that, I don't care for the composition and I don't think it fits the challenge at all. I don't think fitting the challenge is the be-all-end-all, but it has to have some small resemblence to it or at least look like the photographer tried to make a shot that fit. This doesn't at all.
