Over the Riverby dahkotaComment by Zoomdak: Wow! This one pacts a punch! Not only do the wood lines focus you in but also the metal frame adds much depth to it as well. I'd also like to see this image tried with a person/some kind of focal point at the end of the walk. Awesome job though! Top ten. |

Chicken on a missionby dahkotaComment by TheStick: A good way to deal with stress or a crisis is to relax, take a deep breath, and act like some kind of deranged chicken or something. |

Chicken on a missionby dahkotaComment by Jutilda: You couldn't have titled this any better. IT's almost cartoon like - his determined approach to his stride. This is great! |

Over the Riverby dahkotaComment by emh11: Oh great... now I'm going to have that stupid "Over the River and through the woods, to grandmother's house we go" song in my head all night. Rest assured, I did not take any points off for that :). I like the way these lines converge. Good shot. |

Over the Riverby dahkotaComment by Mr_Pants: Lots of texture here, which makes this an absorbing picture, even in the absence of any obvious point of focus. |

Over the Riverby dahkotaComment by Artifacts: Leading lines or curves generally have two purposes. One is to lead the viewer into the scene. The other is to lead you toward the main subject. It is most effective if they come in from the lower left because that is the natural direction humans visually scan a picture from so are easiest to pick up.
Nice lines that make the viewer wonder what is on the trail beyond the bridge. |
