I find the girl in the picture distracting because of the placement. To me she would have looked better on the opposite side because as I try to look at this road my eye keeps being drawn back to the woman who I don't believe is supposed to be the focal point of the photo. It is almost disturbing. The eye tends to go from right to left and having her on the opposite tree would have made it possible to take in the road and the woman. Although this might have been the effect you were seeking.

The person behind the tree takes one out of the photograph, would be better if person was walkind down the middle( or right side framed by the distant archway ) of the road past the middle of the photograph
