Pegasusby BaldurTComment by CNovack: Very nicely done! I love the angle for it allows the illusion of the wings as truly being a part of this horse's body. I looks believable that we see a pegasus standing before us. Lighting and B&W tones are great. While this is an above average composition I do have some suggestions on how to improve the image to make it even better. First, I think it would have been even better if all the feathers on the wings were in sharper focus to match the sharpness and detail of the horse. Next suggestion is that the sky is flat and featureless - I feel you could have made the sky a 'supporting cast' to complement the pegasus who can easily take to the skies. Some whispy or nice billowy clouds in that sky will help further strengthen the composition for it makes us think of the aerial realm that this winged creature exists. |

Pegasusby BaldurTComment by tanguera: Wonderful idea. Technically, there is something abut the wing that doesn't match the rest of the shot. I don't know enough about pp'ing to tell you what though. |

Pegasusby BaldurTComment by Phileine: In my top 3. Very subtle conversion to a mythical creature without losing the fact that it´s a picture. 9 |

Pegasusby BaldurTComment by MilesW: I really like the composition of this shot. I assume the feathers were on a much smaller scale than the horse, but by choosing an angle that brings the feathers up close it works very well. As a bonus the angle removes the need to do any awkward blending of wing to torso and allows the viewers imagination to do the work. Clever stuff! |
