Comment by elsie:
Like the gritty face, but the shadows are very distracting to me. Like the gnarled tree comparison with the cowboy's wrinkles. Does he have long hair? Can't quite tell, and that's distracting as well. Coloring is just a little too green.

Where did you find him?! He looks so authentic ... Nice dappled light. Also like the choice of sepia.

This guy has me almost convinced, then I look at the hat. -1 for the too clean hat, good score anyway..

Comment by rlewis:
The lighting hurts the image....it would be better with more even lighting, especially on the face.

Very nice, vintage western feel to this. I like the dappled light on his face.

Comment by 777STAN:
The brightness of her hair, her make-up, and the glitter make me wonder if serious is her secondary skill while smiling is her primary benefit. Strong lines between muscles just past the corners of her mouth tell me that she probably smiles a great deal...(Hope I'm right.) :)

Comment by signal2noise:
The closeup composition makes this image rather harsh. The focus here seems to be on the nose and the hair in front of the model's right eye instead of on the eyes. The noise (light? glitter? water? sharpening) above the right eye seems out of place and imposing. The reds in the image complement each other, but greyscale/B&W may have served this image better.
