So cute. Sort of like "The American Gothic" taken to the next level. I like that they are peering down on you. Really evokes a whimsical sense, like your parents NEVER get away from being over you. LOL I like it. Great sky.

The B&W treatment does a good job of highlighting the texture in this shot, but I'm afraid that a lot of your texture is in the background, so your intended subject looks relatively flat and uninteresting. The thick border does a nice job of emphasizing the subject. The different shades of the coffee and the contrasting cups are a nice touch, but I think that it'd be more interesting if you added something to the cups to give them interest (e.g. a sugar cube floating in one, a sprig of mint in another, a cinnamon stick in the third, and a spoon in the fourth). The different cups and colors suggest similar variety in their users; seeing the hands of the drinkers might make this an interesting character study.

I think I remember this guy from voting in the Challenge. He was a friendly looking guy then and still is. He definitely looks as if he could give you a nice, comforting pat on the back whenever you need it.

Expressive face, well photographed. Background is nicely neutral and I like the Black 'n White treatment.

From your portfolio, you seem to be a "People-type" person and your images of people are just great.

About all I can offer you is encouragement. 6.13 isn't bad, but keep doing what you are doing and undoubtedly those scores will go up even higher.
