Bold composition. I like all the darkness with its mysterious bokeh, and the texture of the bark. There's a sense of something mysterious and real informing your symbol. 8

I think the image "might" have looked better in a landscape format so as to follow the eyes of the mask. My eye is being focused into two very different areas with no connection. The overall exposure and composition is lovely. Giving extra points for a nice idea. Above average rating from me.

Pretty cool the way the dots play tricks with your eyes as they move out in the distance. CRT monitor flicker (refresh rate) just adds to it. :D The subject you chose to place on this background is ok, I can't help but wonder if something else might have really made for a "WOW" photo with that cool pattern. Anyway, good luck in the challenge.
