You elicit alot of emotion here. With a bit of motion in the foreground, I feel like I'm about to leap with the person thru the tunnel. Danger! It fills me with that excited fear! Because I'm not sure of the method you used for this, I am having trouble deciding if the rest of the blurriness is because of the motion, or because you used a small aperature number. (doesn't *that* sound technical!) Anyway...gave you an 8.

Even if walking the train tracks or listening for the train wasn't a part of someon's childhood, I think the movie Stand By Me immortalized it as a childhood moment. Actually this photo brought back to me the feelings I had for that movie as a child, the empathy I had for the characters. I'm assuming that the person is an adult, filling in to represent a child. (The furry arm gives it away. hee hee) I like him in the photo though many people may complain. I'm sure you've probably been voted down as a result. I only want to say that I think this would be a weaker photo without him in it, so my advice is to ignore and "does not meet challenge" comments you may get. Focus is a bit soft, but for some reason in this photo I think it may add rather than detract. I've gone back and forth on my feelings on that aspect of this photo this week. 6, just-married

Great shot, great idea - my only quibbles relate to the sharpness of the overall image and that there seems to be a child in the picture. I think that the shot of the tunnel on it̢۪s own would have been better.

Like the idea, but there seems to be a bit of a blur in the shot.

NO ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! GET OFF THE TRACKS NOW ! Good grief boy. What are you thinking? A train comes by and you're nothing but a bloody mess for someone to have to clean up.
Why is there a child in this photo? I like it a lot and the rules says "children" so I guess one child is ok. It looks like almost nothing is in focus either. I have no idea why I score it 8. I guess it's because it is such a good idea and I don't know what I would have focused on either.
After reading your post I am back to review. conclusion---You obviously wanted us to think it is a child ,the title and attire of the person lead me to that conclusion. Would you not agree? What would make one think otherwise?+++no change in score. good luck
