Guiding Lineby
Magnus_iComment by khdoss: Hello from the Critique Club!!!
Composition:
The composition of this shot is off to me. Although the road line does take my eye forward it takes it to nothing of real interest, and my eyes stray over to the purple flowers.
Background/ Foreground
The sky is nice and sets off the tree line. The road is dark and makes the picture seem sad.
Camera Work:
If I read your comment correctly then you just snapped a picture to be in the contest, then it shows. This picture has promise, a different angle, changing the view so the street light is not in it. Better focus. The picture is very dark.
Post-Processing:
I can not comment on your post-processing because you did not include it in the comment field. Including this information helps us see what you have done, and can help teach other users how to use post processing to improve their pictures.
My Opinion:
I think you should take a little more time thinking about the shot you are taking. In looking at your portfolio you have an eye for taking nice pictures.
I hope you find these comments to be helpful, thank you for allowing me to critique your picture. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact me via PM.
Best of luck in your future photographic endeavors,
Regards,
