i agree! I bought some for this challenge, but didn't end up using it. maybe in the future. this has nice color and texture to it, but no real focal point to draw in the eye.

The composition here is great - the photo is both adorable and touching. I do have a couple of suggestions, though. I think the crop is just a tad too close, particularly on the left side, where the knuckles are being cut out; also, it looks as if the background was blackened, and this is very apparent on the older arm. I would also suggest working a bit on the colour or simply going black and white with this; the colours really don't do this cute baby justice! The DOF is just a bit off, as the top of the arm is blurry. Nonetheless, I like the way this shot is lit for the most part, and some minor editing would really make it pop. Nice effort!
