Dissolutionby Mal37Comment by Kelli: Very pretty and soft. Love that the touches of color are so minor. Excellent work! |

iMac.jpgby Mal37Comment by roz: i'v often been tempted to go mac .. but the cost and setting up a totally new computer has put me off .. you seem to have the same coloured wall as we have in my daughter's room ... the photograph of the screen turned out very well on the long exposure .. :) |

Dissolutionby Mal37Comment by CNovack: Love the partial flower composition that has it lying on the diagonal for it adds visual interest to the floral shot! There is some nice detail on the portion of the flower that extruds out from the center but much detail is lost of the petals. I think the focus was on that portion and with a faster shutter speed and aperture you lost the details because of where the focus was or too much light entering in that it blew out some highlights of the white flower. A white flower on a white backdrop could be tricky with getting correct exposure. You could try bracketing - taking the shot at different aperture setting & shutter speed. Keep the ISO at 100 like you did here, but you might want to play around with a higher Aperture setting to get a greater Depth of Field - I recommend you play with a 6 or higher (Just be aware that if you use a slower shutter speed which you might have too you will need a tripod or a steady surface to place the camera to avoid blur). |
