I can only imagine how hard it must have been to choose one of so many pictures. Nice capture of the adult and baby geese. I like the lighting and the nice reflections in the water.

It looks like they like that one tree for a roost. The one in the back on the right with a light colored neck is an anhinga. The short neck ones are cormorants. Anhingas have a longer tail and neck.

A heron profile, I'd guess a juvenile green heron, but I'm thinking green herons are smaller than the one you captured here, so I can't really tell for sure. Here's some pics for comparison, here and here.
