steve, it's not an insane asylum, it was a hospital for lung deseases (tuberculosis) and included two sanatoriums. you can read about it's history here on wiki.

"fear", I get but the "love" part, not so.

Great shot's. This is always intrigueing subject matter because we all know there are so many stories within those walls. The older the walls the creepier the story.
