By the distortion in the corners, and flash coverage, this looks like a wide angle shot, and you were up pretty close. Is the softness in the foreground intentional? I sometimes breathe on the lens to get that effect, and shoot when it looks right as the condensation evaporates.
It's a scene of smiles and a happy time, so the effect fits nicely.

Kind of interesting, but I have not sense of scale and the different toning of the outer an inner areas does not seem right to me. Kind of like wearing two different shades of red that are close, but don't really match.
