In the Shadows by BrianRComment by Melethia: I didn't see this as being posed at all - I thought it a wonderfully warm moment captured. It's very apparent she's quite taken with the gentleman! Beautiful light - very well processed to bring out the essence of the shot. |

In the Shadows by BrianRComment by SandyP: Hi Brian! That is a nice moment you captured! The connection between those 2 pours out of this photo. How nice to see your step-daughter after 4 whole years! They look so happy!

All Stern.by BrianRComment by Simms: I am not sure I `get` the processing in this. It doesnt enhance or add to the image in anyway, its quite horrible. Dont use filters just for the sake of it, only use them in subtle ways that will add something to the image (add a positive that is).
3, sorry. |

Mother and Daughter Seeing Eye to Eyeby BrianRComment by briantammy: not seeing the transition here unless it's the assumed change from daughter to mother. the title might be confusing me. nice candid, good expressions.
you don't have to take my comments so personally, they are based on my perception of the photo and not the photographer. i agree that the title shouldn't have to be relied upon to aid the viewer in understanding the image, but when there IS a title it DOES have an effect on the perception of the message. Here it confused ME as to the transition aspect of the shot.
Also you ought to wait until the voting is over to PM someone regarding this type of thing. How do you know you won't get a negitive reaction and cause voter to go back and drop the score he gave. |
