Consider Me Goneby arnitComment by pncowley: wow, nice shot of a potentially boring subject. The detail in the hair is nice and I think black and white was a good choice. I find the border unnecessary, however. Good job. |

Last Goodbyeby arnitComment by RiderGal: Greetings from the Critique Club
Hi Arnit! I really liked this photo... as I said in my comment down below I gave it a ten. It's artsy, uses your camera's functions well, is very well lit, it shows you know how to use your camera and not just take a snapshot. The black background makes it look very dramatic... Almost dark... to go along with your title of the last goodbye... Excellent use of composition. It REALLY works well here. I also like your choice of borderl... it brings it to a close, and it almost makes me feel like I'm looking in a mirror (weird). That petal that is coming towards us looks 3-d, I feel as though it is reaching out to me. If i didn't know any better I'd try to pick it right out of the photo Your lighting is superb really highlighting the most important parts of the flower. Everything is truly beautiful, and you have a great outcome! Nice job... and good luck in your future entries. |

In The Event Of My Demiseby arnitComment by bamaster: I've visited this photo a few times and I still am not clear on the message. Maybe I am not christian enough (I'm guessing that would help because of the cross)? The three photos collectively confuse me. |

In The Event Of My Demiseby arnitComment by smellyfish1002: There are those amazing eyes again...
This is the first image in this challenge that seems to tell a story, and it is very emotive.
I like the selective use of color...
The cross is a nice touch as well. (are you of Christian faith?)
This gets a 10 from me... I think you will place well this week.
The only improvement I can think of would be to clone out the stray hair on the right side of her forehead in the center image. Not a big deal, though.
Nicely done, great work.
