Unusual shot - and very striking. Love the candid actions of the kids and I think the lack of colour everywhere else works well without selective desturation. Composition is strong too.

On a personal note - the only kid wearing the right gear is the one at the front! Looks like a little snowboarder - whereas the others look like skiers!

Cute! I've always had trouble getting (awake) cats to cooperate long enough to come out with a good shot. This one looks like one of those inspirational posters a teacher might have around in the classroom (that's a good thing--I'd alwaas preferred staring mindlessly at those to paying attention in class).

nice take on the challenge...I was first going to mark it down cause I was judging that both the old and new should be the same item...guess it really doesn't have to be...I would have liked a little more front light but really like this too. Good job and good luck

Cute shot, nicely lit - the kitten is adorable.

I'm guessing the kitten is the new and the scales are the old, which is more interesting than yet another roll of film vs. memory card but I think the link to the theme is still a little weak.

The way the kitten is looking off at who knows what is a great touch, makes you wonder what he's thinking.
