The Coumarantby KOKOCATComment by FranziskaLang: Isn't it great to be able to see these creatures out in the wild? I love it. Hard to get their shots. Your focus is spot-on, and I love the reflecting water. I would like to see the cormorant in full detail, not just his/her silhouette, but that would probably have been impossible from your position. What I think would give this image a little bit more impact than it does at the moment would be a tighter crop. The cormorant is the main subject of your photo, yet it is overpowered by the water and the shoreline a bit. |

The Coumarantby KOKOCATComment by Alain: You probably mean "The Cormorant", I never heard of a Coumarant. But still a nice picture. |

Journey's Endby KOKOCATComment by JH: Image looks noisy, like it's over-compressed or something (perhaps when you were resizing in PS?). The grey border doesn't really add to it. There's also no main focus... Is it the gate or that column in the middle?
The lighting is okay though. Overall I would have preferred to see one main subject. If it's the gate, then change where you're standing to focus the attention on it. |

Journey's Endby KOKOCATComment by Tammer: I think had this been more in focus, I would have given you one more point. I like your composition though. |

Journey's Endby KOKOCATComment by fotodude: suffers from some low res. i ssues that make it unclear....other wise would be nice to see it with out the boarder and slightly darker, but it could be my screen |
