But, save those cloud pictures for a future challenge. If cropped just to the left edge of the first metal strut, the picture is a knock-out. |

reflectionby capgalComment by Skip: i don't know anything about portraiture, so i'm using your image as a guinnea pig as to what i think i would or wouldn't do in this situation, as well as what i notice and get out of your image.
i think one of toughest aspects of portraiture is to capture the essence of an individual, without unnecessary props. you certainly have done that here! great job. the lighting, pose, composition, background, exposure--they all come together to make this image. good work! |
