very nice. it's too bad you can see the shadownear your thumb/finger and the coins at the left. It really blows the effect.
next time you try a photo like this, where the background is very close to your subject, you might want to use a white reflector just off camera (in this case lower half) to fill in those shadows some.
good idea I'm sure you will do well!

Challenge link: strong. Nice (if predictable) idea.

Image critique: not bad, well composed, but you've given the game away with the shadow. Why!!!? This is advanced editing and you could have removed this which would have made your shot 10 times better. As it is, I'd have to say it's too harsh and washed out.

Out of challenge interest: not much.

I don't care for the title, but that is not important. I love the photo - its such a clever idea. If only you could have managed without the "give-away" shadows. The b&w works well in this case.

Great subject, but too much sky. Cropping most of the sky would make this a excellent photo.
