Too bad the branches in the upper left hand corner were in the frame and/or out of focus, because it distracts from an otherwise beautiful image. Good Work.

I am very pleasantly surprised by my 5th place finish. I got the idea for this one on my way home from work on a day that was shortened by cancelled appointments as a result of the snow. I stopped off at the grocery and bought a box of soup crackers. A park nearby is always busy with seagulls, geese and ducks swimming in the pond. I threw handfuls of the crackers up in the air and as the seagulls attempted to catch them I shot pictures kneeling on the ground with the sky as the backround. This was the best shot of the bunch. Very little done in post shot adjustments. Slightly cropped, sharpened, increased contrast.
