and i hear you about not even noticing the bee till you saw it on your screen .. that's happened to me often ... a real gift can appear on the monitor that i didnt notice on the camera ..
i'm so sorry about the score going down before deadline .. can be quite discouraging .. i'm so glad you got the blue despite that drop ..

Thank you! The gold finches love sunflower seeds so they are naturally drawn to the flowers. They seem to appear in the morning around 9 am and then periodically throughout the day.

I thought this was a lantern fly when I saw it. Beautiful bugs but exactly as you wrote a threat to crops and trees as well as the huge amounts of them on our horizon.
