Colors In Black And Whiteby GolferDDSComment by LobsterClaws: i like your set up but I think b&w will hurt you in a "color" challenge :-( and what is with some of those crayon names, I can't imagine what "timberwolf" looks like, brown? |

Colors In Black And Whiteby GolferDDSComment by Swashbuckler: Very sharp photo! Well laid out set up. Challenge - I don't get any sense of color, these or any other (O.K. black, white and gray are colors, but not the ones advertised on the crayons). Maybe leaving one in color would have been a better idea (if you don't know how to do this, e-mail me the original, I'll tweek it and send it back to you) 6 Rob the Swash |

Colors In Black And Whiteby GolferDDSComment by frisca: normally, I wasn't feeling too generous on b&w photos when the challenge is colour, but this one is actually interesting! Bit of a story to tell with the effect. |

Hand Someby GolferDDSComment by dsidwell: Hi and greetings from the Critique Club!
This is a very engaging and enjoyable image! The idea and execution are both excellent. It creates kind of a puzzle that is a delight to figure out and/or just look at. It is certainly symmetrical!
A few voters mentioned below that the reflection is just a tad out of focus. Otherwise, I find your composition excellent. The lighting is also wonderful as you've been able to get the light on the hand without geting weird light reflections on the mirror. I bet that was a challenge.
It is a very dramatic image, and the lines of the fingers are appropriately curled for best dramatic effect. The lighting is quite straightforward, though, and you may want to experiment with different angles and levels with this shot in the future to add even more mystery and drama to it. the tight crop is great and this in an image which you put, appropriately, right in the center.
I like this image a lot and voted it highly before. Congratulations on a well done photo!
