The Serengetiby bucketComment by UpUpCanadian: i like this. personally i might have cropped this differently - leaving out the two zebras to the right. but that's me. |

The Serengetiby bucketComment by noraneko: This is one of my favorites of the challenge, as I love the way the zebras seem to fade into the mist. I think it might even be stronger with a squarish-crop (without the two zebra heads coming in on the right) but that is a stylistic choice, not really a nit. Anyway, wonderful work! 9. |

The Serengetiby bucketComment by geoffb: This is a great shot. If the dust wasn't there, it would be much too cluttered. However, you've used the dust as a natural backdrop behind the zebra. Great contrast to the image, and nice composition; I think including the heads of the zebras on the right helps to show there are more to come, without panning out to show everything (which would lose all the detail). |

The Serengetiby bucketComment by jan_vdw: Nice! Love how you captured the Zebra in the dust. I like the centered composition, as there are lots of interst in the photo. Black and White was definately the way to go with this. |

The Serengetiby bucketComment by simplesilent: i think everyone would agree that this would be better if the zebra was black with WHITE stripes.
or if the zebra was smiling or drinking tea. |

The Serengetiby bucketComment by ellamay: i love wildlife shots. The dust here is wonderful it adds to the feel of the place. My biggest critique however would be the foreground/main zebra and the positioning of his legs. I think they generally look better and make the animal seem more balanced when the front legs are up and the back legs are down. That being said, lovely shot.... actually have I said this before? |
