Winthrop at Dusk Day 20by riversongComment by Mr_Pants: A superbly done night shot. The dynamic range in such shots is difficult enough to handle normally, without there being snow involved. That only serves to complicate matters tenfold. You nailed the exposure here. |

In Flight. Day 18 by riversongComment by Mr_Pants: I love the way that you seem to have captured the birds in different stages of flapping. The plain white background works really well here, as there is nothing to distract the viewer from the action. |

Town Hall Day 23by riversongComment by icu1965: The lighting is great! It took me a second to even notice the lights from the car that went by. The colour of the sky and the way the moon looks reminds me of Van Gogh's Starry Night. |

Town Hall Day 23by riversongComment by MaryO: This is a perfectly lovely night shot. Nice detail on the building and the dark trees and deep blue sky are a nice background. The light on the flagpole's a little blown out but you can always crop that part and no one will be the wiser ;-) |
