Thanks for your advice Karmat. I am just now discovering this feed-back feature and am replying to everyone. Hope it's not too late. I know everything you are talking about is true. I cloaned the powerlines out and did it poorly, but I am so happy you noticed the feathers had detail. I went out and purchased a new lens after this challenge! I'll have to wait for the eagles to return in the fall to shoot them!
