Very nice composition, but you lost a lot of detail by making the file size so small... If this is a limitation of your camera, please disregard this comment, but if this was due to over compressing, you may want to rethink file sizes.

I can totally relate. My 2 year old has close to 200 little hot wheels cars and They are EVERYWHERE. I pulled 2 out of the dryer yesterday. This is a great depiction of childhood. I have the feeling someone is going to comment on how they are "unorganized" or how it's "just a pile of cars". I think you did it PERFECTLY. I wouldn't change a thing. Childhood isn't about organized lines of cars or toys, it's about piles and messes. Great job and good luck in the challenge.
