Sharp and bright, but it seems kind of flat. If you had a shallower depth of field and cropped more tightly, this would be a more interesting photo.

A really good attempt and a clever technique that is pretty effective here.

The composition is well thought out and I like that the heat is on too.

What really kills this shot is the lighting - and it is hard to get better with a long exposure shot like this.

One thought would maybe to try a longer exposure and 'stutter' the egg movement, so that you record it at various points. Here you have started with it 'not moving' and it has recorded clearly in the 'just above the pan' area.

Very pretty!! What great focus and clarity. The angle and framing/cropping is wonderful. I love the placement of the cone within the frame. The colors are great, and the lighting is just perfect for this shot. I really have nothing to complain about. (miracle, huh?) Great find!! Good luck in the challenge.

Been there, done that! Sold lots of stuff for a couple of years. Good picture! Unusual, and I'm sure no one else has entered the same...lol Lighting, composition, exposure, are all good.
