gm.jpgby electrolostComment by roz: nahhhhhh ... disregard my previous comment .. it would ruin this excellent piece of art to have type all thru it .. maybe in the photog's comments .. :)
another one that's struck my fancy is the one on the bottom line lhs .. soft and subtle and atmospheric .. :) |

gm.jpgby electrolostComment by roz: just gotta love those blending modes !!! .. all so different and all so interesting ..
love the way you've combined them into one very attractive composite ..
you should'v written in an unobtrusive font the actual blending mode for each one ..!!
i particularly like the one on the lhs in 2nd row down .. then again i really like the sepia looking one above it .. the one in the middle on the bottom row is another brilliant image ..
hmmmmmm .. the original really kicks arse tho .. :) |

MIA2.jpgby electrolostComment by krnodil: This has its charms, though I prefer the color treatment. With this one, the oil overlay makes it looks like processing chemicals on the print plate, gives it a good vintage photo look. |

Mia.jpgby electrolostComment by krnodil: I have a preference for this color version - something about the rich blacks and the contrast of the table legs with the blue of the wall - very tasty. The colors just make all the elements distinct. I love this effect - like you're viewing him through the bottom of a soda bottle. Gives it an indefinable quality -like he's both sharp and soft at the same time. |
