Wow, I just saw this in a completely unrelated thread (favorite comments) - haven't seen it before, must have missed this challenge last Feb. Honestly, in the context of the challenge, I don't know what I would have voted it as - after the fact I'm sure I would have regretted not giving it a 10 - I absolutely love this shot, it's gorgeous and a new fave for me.

Nicely composed, excellent lighting, which makes the shot by the way. The out of focus greens in the background make the rock stand out and the frame is full of movement because of the water. Very well done.

Love the tight crop and the lighting is spot on. Very sharp but not to the point its damaging. If this is who I think it is....please take me on one of your outings. =) If it isn't who I think it is, then it's a big compliment! 9

interesting idea, but i would have preferred to see more rain than rock. what i mean is that dark space in front about half way of the rock i would have gotten rid of that and keep the rest that is in the sunlight. that way you would have more room for the water, and the splash on the rock would be more apparent. good light, and i like the motion in the picture. nice colors.
