The Story of my Lifeby AlainComment by chalice: This is, quite possibly, the most interesting voting pattern I have ever seen on DPC. So many 1, 2, and 3s with so many 8, 9, and 10s. Voters had relatively strong feelings about this image. Possibly a reflection of the "misunderstanding" you were shooting for, and achieved. |

Snowshoe Hareby AlainComment by Wink: Exquisite hand on the pp controls. If you let the twig remain to contrast it with the finely detailed hare and thus set up a dynamic energy, you are masterful. If not, the photo remains evidence of your mastery. |

Snowshoe Hareby AlainComment by citymars: Normally I don't like frames, especially thick ones, but I have a sense that in this case the frame improves this photo (not that it needed much improving). Crop seems a bit tight, but still this gets a high score from me. |

Snowshoe Hareby AlainComment by cgino: Amazing capture of a beautiful animal! You would think it was posing for you, really great angle and wonderful detail, the snow drift in front creates such a nice opposing line to the bunny's back; I wouldn't mind losing the out-of-focus twig on the left, but that's a small detail, I love this image lots! |

Snowshoe Hareby AlainComment by docurrie: Wonder detail in the rabit. Only two suggestions, first is clone out the twig on the left. Also a little catch light in the eye would have added to the shot. |
