It ok to be daring,. provocative and different. but this is absurd. plain and simple a bad photograph. just so you know the 3 has nothing to do with the horses "pencil"...

Understanding of this photo and how it relates to the challenge comes from the forums. This one scores low for me just because I don't find the photo appealing, since I now get the concept of pencil you are using!

ok, i've read the discussions in the forums, i understand there's a 'pencil' in this shot, but IMHO, this does not meet the intent of the challenge (which was to include a writing implement kind of pencil), so i will be voting you low, sorry. as for the photo, the sign looks a little overexposed, and i'm not sure i like the cropping, but then, i haven't taken a photo of a horse's pencil as the main subject, so what do i know. -- gr8photos (2)
