Focusby lynnesiteComment by Ecce_Signum: Lovely shot, a good strong backlight shot that conveys an almost enigmatic mood. I wonder if it would look better with a little cropped off the bottom and (if possible) a little mor sky at the top? |

Shadow Mareby lynnesiteComment by lynnesite: It was a poor choice for the challenge--what was extraordinary is not apparent to non-horse people. It was so hot that you could see her black skin through her grey (white) hair around her muzzle and eyes, and I thought the shadow was appealing. 113 Degrees Doesn't Slow Him Downby lynnesiteComment by lynnesite: Mingo is his name, a rescued/tortured pit bull cross. I've learned a lot since posting that shot, and now use a camera with better dynamic range to avoid the blown highlights, 30,000 images since with a lot of self-assignments. Thanks for the comments!
