Nice Aussie colours indeed, as said below. This was one of the most dramatic of the year and of the challenge. When I was a tiny kid, my parents drove round the outback of Australia twice and the rusty countryside of Broken Hill is familiar to me in a far distant memory. The corrugated roads and taste of dust in a non-air conditioned car are still with me. That was back in the 50s.
