Last Lightby sir_bazzComment by shutterpuppy: lovely, serene shot. i remember the first time I shot Velvia - and then proceeded to shoot little else for months afterward. the super-saturation/-contrast is still very addictive, and I love the colors you got above. funny how when I shot film, I generally kept looking for higher contrast/saturation, low grain films, and now that I predominately shoot digital I've fallen in love with low-contrast polaroids and chunky-grain black and white film. |

Sideshow Arcadeby sir_bazzComment by Mephisto: this is taken at the same amausement park(?) as the clowns shot i suppose?
they make a nice documentary-like series! i like how you can see these three kids at different states of attention and action with the focus on the girl in the middle. hands play a main role here, too. nice! |

Last Lightby sir_bazzComment by Mephisto: the typical high contrast and color saturation of the velvia slides are perfect for this kind of scene!

Last Lightby sir_bazzComment by tph1: Wonderful colors s_b. The hint of rough water, next to the flat water inside is a nice contrast. VERY pleasing to look at. |

Twilight in Velviaby sir_bazzComment by tph1: Wow. Great color and detail. That scanner works great! FWIW, I have been photographing my polaroids with my 35mm macro and my e-410 Oly. |

Laughing Clownsby sir_bazzComment by Steef: is this the game where one shoots water in their mouth? looks like an octet of singing clowns to me, and i'm only slightly creeped out.
the colors are very vivid and i can't see any sort of grain, this is great. |
