Well, there's some pink there, but otherwise I struggle with this image and see problems with sharpness, overblown highlights, clashing colours and textures, and extraneous elements in the composition.

Interesting Idea...Lighting seems a little harsh. If I was to shoot this I might have tried a different angle. Crouch down around the bottom right of the cutting board and shoot across the subject. Show a little more thickness of the meat and the cutting board. This might have cut down on the glare in that hot spot in the middle and added some depth to the presentation.

This is pretty clever! You have some awesome ideas.. Usually I am not that picky but it sometimes help to try to point things out that will make the shot more effective.. Then next time you are shooting you start to become aware of these things. There is something like a arm chair beside her that is changing the way the light flows, maybe throw a sheet solid cover over this you can stack something on the other side or use a broom stick to even it up on the other side.. Or just have your model move over to hide it.. was there light behind her? If so then that may be why the affect of this surprise isnt as strong.. I am starting to play with light more and theres so many affects that when you are trying to accomplish an image you really have to take a ton of pics. All the while during the process move the lights to different spots... Even a foil or mirror can change the light.. I love mirror affects.. I still like this though so dont take me the wrong the way :)

There is too much glare in this picture. The composition (mainly, orientation) doesn't seem well thought out, as though this is a quick snapshot.

LMAO!!! I love your humor! :) Great way of getting everyones attention for you first entry! I am a lot of dpcers have noticed this...I like the way its got the counter top showing. I sometimes get to close and forget about leaving room for like rull of thirds..like this is. You are off to a great start!
