This would be so beautiful if it weren't so heavily post-processed. It looks like a combination of gaussian blur and neat image with blown highlights. If you could have taken this when the sun was lower, and used a subtle soft-focus or subtle gaussian blur it would feel more natural. Also, a soft fill flash, maybe -2/3 compensation would remove the shadows from the eyes.

The colors here are good, but I think the coposition could be better if the main subject were not centered. The sky looks overexposed.

Touching shot, toning is good for this time of shot. Not sure the gaussian blur adds to it though.
