Comment by Ivo:
This is a beautiful sky photo and the colors are striking. It is tough dealing with the contrasting lightness of the sky and the darkness of the foreground and I think that a little dodging may have helped? If anything, dodging the road would have been an interesting enhancement. Cutting down the foreground may also have placed a bit more emphasis on the sky which is really your focal point.

I go along with what SDW says. I'd add to itthat part of the problem here is there's too MUCH silhouette showing, since it's of very little interest. Sometimes when you get a sky this fine, you're better off with NO silhouette, just a little bit of distant horizon at the bottom. The color balance, the PS and NeatImage work, are very well done.

Comment by SDW:
Very nice colors and texture in the sky and a nice silhouette. However the silhouette is plain, just tree lines with nothing to enhance the picture. I would give it a 5 for an average photograph but with a wonderful silhouette in front of the sky it would of been more dramatic and therefor deserve a higher rating. Again let me say a great shot just needed a better foreground in front of that beautiful sky. Hope my critique was not to harsh I just believe in being honest at what I see and did not mean anything negative about your image. Keep up the good work. I suffer here where I live as well because its hard to find a great foreground subject to put in front a nice sunset.

Powerful image, could easily see that in anti-smoking ads.
